I offer this optional, relaxed pre-wedding meeting and photo session to every one of our couples who book me for their Wedding photography as I feel it has real value and benefits your day. We will arrange your session for about 3 months prior to your wedding day to enable you to meet up with me, run through the timing of your day, allow me take a number of relaxed photographs and also to answer any questions you may have so that everything is clear and covered in advance of your walking down the aisle.
My pre-wedding session is very relaxed and lots of fun and they can be at any favourite local location. Why not choose somewhere that has meaning for you both and, if you would like, incorporate a theme - something that appeals to you both - if you are into cars, horses, farming (and more) then please let me know so that I can create a portrait that really means something special to you both.
As well as the two of you why not invite your close family and friends to your session and turn it into a family portrait. Involving children is very popular - with some of my couples my pre-wedding portraits have adorned their walls long before their wedding images. Capturing the love and smiles of you both with your families at this time in your life whilst dressed in regular clothes (rather than your wedding outfits) is something that really appeals to so many as the images created are simply timeless.
By the end of our pre-wedding session many of my couples are so excited about their big day that they are already planning their photography wish list ready.
"Thank you for the pre-wedding photo shoot, we both thoroughly enjoyed it! We love all the photos thank you!" Terri and Simon
Advantages of your Pre-Wedding photo session:
1. This session allows you to get to know me better and for you both to spend a little time in front of camera in an unpressured environment which will have real benefits and allow you to feel far more relaxed on your big day.
2. Feeling more relaxed will give you confidence (knowing how you will look on your wedding day) which will show in your photographs - result lovely photographs.
3. If you choose to have your pre-wedding photos at your wedding venue we can chat through your ideas for your day and see different ideas and locations for your Wedding photography. You can then use this information to help you to decide on your favourites to recreate on your wedding day. This will help your day run smoothly and to ensure you to absolutely love the results.
4. You receive a great set of beautiful relaxed photos which you and your family will love.
5. Involve your children (if you have them), close family and friends and turn it into a family session and you will see the benefits. In addition to everything mentioned above your children will be far more inclined to be part of your photography on your big day if they have met me in advance, talked to me and seen what I can do. A little fun posing at a pre-wedding session can easily be reproduced on your Wedding Day with great results.
If you think a pre-wedding photo session is a great way to help you and your partner relax ready for your wedding day, to get to know me better as well as to create a beautiful set of timeless photos of your family at a favourite location then please let me know - I look forward to working with you to create something special and memorable for you for you both.
