As well as photographing in my studio, I offer relaxed outdoor lifestyle photography at locations across Cambridgeshire. So when the weather is good why not head outside with your family for a photoshoot and let me capture your fun and laughter in the great outdoors. My aim is simple ~ to help you to create wonderful family memories and produce images for you that you will treasure forever.
I have scouted out countless locations around the local area but am always happy to discover new ones - hence if you have a favourite local location which means something special to you and your family let me know.
I offer a unique outdoor photography experience, I know some of the best places and times of day to capture stunning family portraits using a combination of natural and flash lighting.
We can meet at the location of your choice ~ wildflower meadows are popular in Spring and local woodlands are great much of the year and can produce some amazing autumnal images too.
Your portrait can be themed or colour coordinated if you would like or I can photograph you and your family as you are naturally.

On the Day
Family photographs can be taken at any age, any time in your life and create a lasting memory. When hung on your wall a photograph becomes the perfect reminder of a special family moment which will remain in pride of place on display for everyone to admire for years to come.
All of my sessions are relaxed and fun with plenty of time for your children to relax and settle in to having their photo taken.
I will arrive at our agreed location in plenty of time for us to meet up and set off in search of quiet places to have fun.
These sessions are about creating memories in the beautiful Cambridgehire countryside ~ running through fields, splashing in the water, charging around the woods, playing hide and seek and piggy back rides.
Please feel free to bring any props with you that you would like included in your photographs.
During your session I will suggest ideas and can set up lights (if necessary) ~ the best images are the ones you love so we will chat as we go creating/capturing images of you together having fun. If we need a break to recharge before going again we can do just that.
Sessions usually last between an 60 and 90 minutes
Wondering what to wear for your family portrait session ~ keep it simple ~ colours and styles that complement each other look lovely in photos. You may wish to consider a colour theme i.e. everyone wearing a shade of blue, everyone having something red, all girls one colour and all boys another or you may all decide to dress in a similar style i.e. all in jeans, all casual or even all smart. You are not limited to one outfit. We recommend you avoid wearing stripes and as a rule large logos can date your photos very quickly.
Above all relax, have fun and let me capture a selection of wonderful family moments for you ~ then you only have the fun of choosing your favourites.
After Your Session
After your session I will carefully process your images ready for your viewing session. We will then arrange a mutually convenient time for you to come in to view your images, choose your favourites and decide how you would like to display them. You will be able to see and feel the quality of my range of wall art products, prints, albums and photobooks. If you would like digital copies of your images you can order these too.
