Pre-Wedding Meeting & Photo Session

Your Pre-Wedding Meeting and Photo Session

Thank you so much for being part of our special day.  The photos are amazing and we will cherish them forever.  The work you put in before the day really helped to alleviate a lot of stress!!  We had an amazing day, which you captured beautifully!  Thanks again"  Hannah and Mark Ware

Planning for your big day and have concerns about:
  • How you will find spending your wedding day in front of a camera ~ knowing where to look or how to stand
  • How well you know your photographer and how easily he will fit in with your day and your friends and family
  • How will you know and be confident that he can deliver the type of images you would like from your day, given the location, weather and everything else that you have on your mind.
  • How can you spend time with your photographer in advance of walking down the aisle to really feel comfortable on your day, learn how to stand, run though posing suggestions and ask all the questions you've been thinking about which will make everything so much easier on your day
If you are asking yourself any of the questions above ~ would you like a relaxed pre-wedding meeting and photo session adding real value and benefit for your day.
  • We arrange this meeting for about 3 months prior to your wedding day to enable us to meet up, run through the timings of your day, allow me take a number of relaxed photographs and also to answer any questions you may have so that everything is clear and covered in advance of your walking down the aisle.
  • Your pre-wedding session will be very relaxed and lots of fun and can be at any favourite local location.  Choose somewhere that has meaning for you both and, if you would like, incorporate a theme - something that appeals to you both - if you are into cars, horses, farming (and more) then please let me know so that I can create a pre-wedding portrait that is something truly special for you both.
  • As well as the two of you why not bring some of your close family to your session and turn it into a relaxed family portrait.  Involving children is very popular - some of my couples my pre-wedding portraits have adorned their walls long before their wedding images.  Capturing the love and smiles of you both with your families at this time in your life whilst dressed in regular clothes (rather than your wedding outfits) is something that really appeals to so many as the images created are simply timeless.

"Thank you for the pre-wedding photo shoot, we both thoroughly enjoyed it!  We love all the photos thank you!"  Terri and Simon King

Advantages of having a Pre-Wedding photo session:

1.  We get to know each other better and is an opportunity for you both to spend a little time in front of camera in an unpressured environment.

2.  Feeling more relaxed will give you confidence (knowing how you will look on your wedding day) ~ this confidence will show in your photographs

3.  If you choose to have your pre-wedding photos at your wedding venue we can chat through your ideas for your day and check out different locations for your Wedding photography.  We can then use this information to help you to decide on your favourites to recreate or build on for your wedding day.  This will help your day run smoothly as everything is planned in advance and ensure you absolutely love the results.

4.  You receive a great set of beautiful relaxed photos which you and your family will love.

5.  Involve your children (if you have them) and close family ~ turn it into a family session and you will see the benefits.  In addition to everything mentioned above your children will be far more inclined to be part of your photography on your big day if they have met me in advance, talked to me and seen what I can do.  A little fun posing at a pre-wedding session can easily be reproduced on your Wedding Day and you will be amazed by the results.

Your pre-wedding photo session is a great way to help you and your partner relax ready for your wedding day, to get to know me better as well as to create a beautiful set of timeless photos of your family at a favourite location - I look forward to working with you to create something truly special and memorable for you both.
