Family Studio Portraits ~ A great family moment captured for you to treasure always. I will photograph your family together in any number of combinations to ensure you receive the photos you would like including everyone, families, couples, children together and individually. I regularly have grandparents, extended family and pets join in. Our relaxed family studio portraits are all offered from our home studio based in Somersham, Cambridgeshire.
Family studio portraits - perfect for that studio look with images containing up to 10 family members - for numbers above 10 we recommend a
family location portrait.
Couples / Partners / Mothers and Daughters / BFF's Portraits ~ Ideal for those newly engaged, celebrating an anniversary, a special birthday or looking for a beautiful image with a very special person in your life. A great excuse to get all dressed up or stay casual and relaxed.
Children's Portraits ~ Capture a moment and treasure it forever. They grow so quickly and change so much every day - these sessions are for kids of all ages - I offer lots of different styles and ideas to get them involved and having fun. I have a range of coloured backgrounds to choose from and they can bring their own props and change of clothes as with this session they will have plenty of time to have some fun and for me to capture some great images. If you have more than one child and would like images of them individually and together that is completely fine I have loads of experience of producing lovely images like this.
Baby Portraits ~ My baby sessions focus on your baby - I will capture baby's giggles, expressions, hands and feet - creating beautiful images for you to treasure. Depending on their age and stage of development I will capture them laying down, crawling or their first steps.
"Capture the Moment" ~ A baby portrait session delivering beautiful images of your baby at this great time in your lives and creating photographs that you will treasure for the rest of your life. Choose any time in their first year from just after your baby is born to their 1st birthday. A great opportunity to capture your little one before they grow up so fast. Bring in siblings and grandparents for family cuddles if you like and turn your baby session into a family portrait above if you prefer.
"Watch Them Grow" ~ book 3 sessions with the first around 4 months when your baby is smiling and interactive, then a second at 8 months when they are mobile, crawling, bum shuffling or coasting and then the final session at their 1st year birthday for a cake smash, balloons, cards and favourite presents. A special portrait session which produces an amazing record of your new baby's first year. Bring in siblings and grandparents for family cuddles if you would like for any of your 3 sessions. Included is an 8"x6" print in a luxury card folder ~ your favourite image from each session.
"Baby's 1st Birthday" ~ celebrate their first birthday with a range of beautiful images you will treasure ~ cake smash, balloons, cards and their favourite birthday presents. Bring siblings and grandparents for family cuddles if you would like.

On the Day
Family photographs can be taken at any age, at any time in your life and create a lasting happy memory. When hung on your wall a photograph becomes the perfect reminder of a special family moment which will remain in pride of place on display for you to love and everyone to admire for years to come.
- All of my sessions are relaxed and fun with plenty of time for you and your children to relax and settle in to having your photograph taken.
- Please feel free to bring any props you would like included in your photographs or a change of clothes ~ with a selection of backgrounds we can easily create different looks together
- If you are concerned about how you look or should be in front of a camera I am here to help - with a studio session (unlike a location session) you have privacy to have fun together without any risk of drawing a crowd
- Sessions usually last around an hour
- Groups in any studio session are limited to maximum of 8 family members per photo (larger groups can be accommodated on a location session).
- Wondering what to wear for your portrait session ~ keep it simple ~ Colours and styles that complement each other look lovely in photos. You may wish to consider a colour theme i.e. everyone wearing a shade of blue, everyone having something red, all girls one colour and all boys another or you may all decide to dress in a similar style i.e. all in jeans, all casual or even all smart. You are not limited to one outfit. We recommend you avoid wearing stripes and as a rule large logos can date your photos very quickly.
Above all relax, have fun and let me capture a selection of wonderful family moments for you ~ then you only have the fun of choosing your favourites
Keeping you and your family safe
As I now offer your studio portrait sessions from the comfort of my home studio in Somersham, Cambridgeshire ~ everything is cleaned after every session ~ all surfaces are wiped with antibacterial wipes, soap and antibacterial spray is readily available for use and sessions are booked well apart to avoid you meeting with other households.
After Your Session
After your session I will carefully process your images ready for your viewing session. We will then arrange a mutually convenient time for you to return to view your images, choose your favourite photos and discuss how you would like to display them. You will be able to see and feel the quality of my range of wall art products, prints, albums and photobooks. If you would like digital copies of your images you can order these too.
